Take Back Your Home From Bed Bugs for Good

Dealing with bed bugs is exhausting, especially when over-the-counter treatments keep falling short. HTP Termite and Pest Control uses a professional-grade biopesticide treatment that works differently than conventional sprays, targeting even pesticide-resistant bed bugs where they hide and travel most.

How the Bed Bug Treatment Process Works

Here is what you can expect from start to finish:

  1. A trained technician inspects key infestation zones including bed frames, headboards, baseboards, and furniture
  2. A low-volume spray barrier is applied along the travel paths bed bugs use most
  3. The biopesticide formula coats the bed bug's outer shell with fungal spores that germinate within 20 hours
  4. The fungus penetrates the pest from the outside in, causing complete elimination
  5. The residual barrier stays active for up to 3 months, continuing to work long after the visit

Little to no preparation is required on your end, and treatment in Franklin is handled by professionals using specialized application equipment for consistent, thorough results.

Why Choose HTP Termite and Pest Control for Bed Bug Control

Not every pest control company offers a biopesticide solution proven effective against pesticide-resistant bed bug populations. HTP Termite and Pest Control brings targeted application techniques, professional-grade products, and a treatment approach built for persistent infestations, giving homeowners a reliable path to lasting relief without the hassle of heavy preparation or repeated treatments.

Your Neighbors Know This Area Best

HTP Termite and Pest Control is locally owned and operated, and our team lives and works right here in Franklin alongside you.

We stay involved in the community, and that means we understand the conditions, the climate, and the specific pest pressures that come with living here. When something comes up, we can respond fast because we're never far away.

Warning Signs You Have a Bed Bug Problem in Franklin

Bed bugs are small, reddish-brown insects that feed on human blood, typically at night. Because they hide so well during the day, most people don't realize they have an infestation until the signs have already built up.

Common signs Tennessee residents report before calling HTP Termite and Pest Control:

  • Small, itchy bites appearing in clusters or lines on exposed skin
  • Tiny rust-colored stains or dark spots on mattress seams and bedding
  • A musty, sweet odor coming from the mattress or nearby furniture
  • Shed bed bug skins or small white eggs in the folds of mattresses, headboards, and baseboards
  • Live bugs spotted along bed frames, behind headboards, or in furniture joints

The longer an infestation goes unaddressed, the deeper bed bugs embed into your home's structure and furniture, making early identification critical to getting your space back under control.

Chemical Bed Bug Treatment That Actually Works

Bed bugs are one of the harder pest problems to solve, and if you've dealt with them before, you already know why. Standard pesticides often fall short because many bed bug populations have developed resistance to common chemical treatments. That's where HTP Termite and Pest Control takes a different approach.

According to the EPA, bed bugs have shown resistance to multiple classes of insecticides, making conventional sprays less reliable than they used to be. The treatment HTP Termite and Pest Control uses is built around a biopesticide that works differently at a biological level, so resistance isn't a factor.

How the Treatment Targets Bed Bugs in Franklin

The active ingredient uses fungal spores that attach to a bed bug's outer shell on contact. Once attached, the spores germinate and penetrate the bug's body, causing death within a predictable window. It doesn't rely on the bug ingesting anything, which is part of why it performs well where other products have failed.

Here's what makes this chemical treatment stand out for Tennessee homeowners dealing with bed bugs:

  • Targets pesticide-resistant bed bugs effectively
  • Applied as a low-volume barrier along bed frames, headboards, baseboards, and furniture
  • Residual protection lasts up to 3 months after a single application
  • Requires little to no preparation from residents before treatment
  • Non-toxic biopesticide formula, applied by trained professionals

It's a practical solution for homeowners who want results without the disruption, and there's a lot more worth knowing about how this treatment holds up in real situations.

Rob from HTP Termite and Pest was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He quickly found and treated three hornet nests (including a large one under my back porch that I hadn’t even noticed). He answered all my questions thoroughly and gave me helpful tips on how to prevent pests in the future. I’m very grateful for his work and the excellent way he represented HTP. Their pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

I’m on a schedule with them now, which brings the cost down even less, versus a one only service.

Thank You Amazing Rob!

HTP has been good to work with. Austin came out and did a thorough inspection, showed us pictures, and clearly explained what was going on and the treatment needed without feeling like a sales pitch. He was prompt in answering questions that we thought of even after he had left. Scheduling may be my only complaint because it took a little longer than I'd like to actually know when a technician would come out but once that was squared away, Mic came and installed the system. He was very professional and again took the time to explain everything and answer questions.
